When you are being interviewed by an TV Show Host or Reporter, or when you’re filming a promo video commercial or LIVE video on social media, you may find something being used as you film.

It’s called a teleprompter. It’s a device that displays your script in large, clear letters, making it easy for you to read while appearing on screen. It can be jarring to use, especially if you’ve never done it before. You may find yourself staring at it too much or making it obvious you’re reading from one. It’s important to know how to use one, so it makes you look natural on-camera. The goal of having a teleprompter is to use it as a tool, not as a crutch.

But there are some essential things to know before you use a teleprompter.

Watch my video that I made for you to find out what they are!
